American Album Program Launches
A new resource is available at your local library! 100 historical book titles relevant to senior citizens, teens and older children have been purchased to check out as book discussion totes. Each tote includes 10 copies of the book, a discussion guide, and a magnifier; audio or video version of the book. Ranges from 1700's - early 2000's and covers a wide variety of themes such as the Revolutionary War, Civil Rights, and the Great Depression.
We held a Class called: "How to Faciliatate a Discussion of Your Favorite Book, or Your Not-So-Favorite Book". There was a great "Book Club Book" List generated. If interested, ask for a copy.

New Author Visits Grove Library
We had a first time author come for a visit July 9, 2009.
A local patron, Godfrey Gattiker, helped her edit her book and get it ready for publishing.
We are so happy for Sara R. Rock, new author who visited with us for a few months before her book was published.
Here are some photos of her visit to us.
